Douglas began his photographic career at the bottom, leading scuba divers on underwater tours while capturing the highlights on film & video. Over a span of four years Douglas: logged over 2000 dives; was published in Australia, Japan, Micronesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, & United States; received over 30 international awards and Honors for photography and video.

Douglas and his wife Meiko, now specialize in wedding photography, family portraiture, & marine photography. Douglas and Mieko utilize years of experience telling stories with pictures to create beautiful portraits and one of a kind Maui storybook weddings.
